The New-to-Teaching Workshop is an in-service for new teachers starting their careers in the MFIS member schools. Information about teaching in Independent Schools will be the context of the session. Participants will dialogue on topics relevant to being a new or first-year teacher.

Topics planned for this year are: Teacher as Designer, Using Professional Protocols and Reflective Practice, Effective Communication, Challenges of being a new Teacher.

Location: Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute (MBCI) – 173 Talbot Ave.

Parking – Use the 2 parking lots behind the school (spots without stall numbers)

Registration Cost – $30.00 (includes lunch)
